Volumetric weight = L × W × H × qty ÷ factor. If actual weight is empty, chargeable equals volumetric; if filled, chargeable is the greater of that package’s actual total and volumetric weight.

Unit system, factor, and rounding apply to every package. Rename packages and set quantity as needed. With more than one package, the shipment total is the sum of each package’s chargeable weight — not all dimensions added first, then divided.

Choose the factor your carrier uses. Metric: 5000 (cm/kg) is common for international express, 6000 for air or postal, 8000 for some economy lanes. Imperial: 139, 166, and 194. You can enter a custom factor; it should match the current unit system, or the result may not match the invoice.

No rounding by default. Some carriers round volumetric and chargeable weight up: to 1 for whole kg or lb, to 0.5 for half kg or half lb.

Estimates only — confirm with your carrier. Calculation stays in the browser; dimensions and weight are not uploaded.
